How can you use Nia as a healing tool?
Nia offers 3 levels of movement: flexibility, agility and strength. Level One accommodates a person’s current ability, whatever that is. People with pains, injuries and disabilities can improve their muscle tone, increase muscle definition, improve endurance and calm the mind.

Creative Movement - moving your body’s way using the Nia technique, tunes you into a sensory experience of being.
It connects you to your inner joy and inspires your dance through life.
When your body becomes fully alive and abundantly aware, your general attitude towards life becomes more serene and you discover new mental and emotional strengths.
Done barefoot to music, Nia combines 9 movement forms:
T'ai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Yoga, Alexander Technique,
Feldenkrais, Modern Dance, Jazz Dance and Duncan Dance
and delivers cardiovascular and whole-body conditioning.
